Ellie Matthews

Ellie is passionate about providing high-quality care to patients and serving others. She earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from the University of Tennessee and a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Lincoln Memorial University. She gained experience as a medical scribe during college. A Knoxville native, she previously served as a gynecologic oncology physician assistant in Northern California but was drawn back home to Knoxville to pursue orthopaedics. In her free time, Ellie enjoys outdoor activities – especially skiing – and spending time with her family.
